Second stage show at The Shipley

My academic career hit a significant staging post in May 2022. We held our Dry Run Exhibition at the Shipley Art Gallery in Gateshead.It was exciting to put many of the concepts and skills learnt over the past three years into practice.My work consisted of a triptych of Modern Goddesses in stained glass and mixed media:

• Yarnstormia, a copper-foiled glass panel icon with ceramic supports, an icon to the goddess of gentle protest
• Deliveria, a prayer wheel for the goddess of short-term contracts and bicycle couriers
• Auntie Covida, a glass panel icon to the goddess of vaccinations
